JourneyLine is a non-profit looking to help those in need in 3rd world countries by providing them with products to sell in their own local shops. The concept is almost like Goodwill, just in other countries. To start, people will donate books in English which will be sent to small artisan shops mostly managed by handicapped individuals. There, they can sell the books to tourists visiting the area who need a little reminder of home or simply something to read.

We worked with the founder of JourneyLine not only on the logo, but the name itself. Although the starting point is books, the organization hopes to expand to more types of items and we didn’t want to be restricted by some of the original book-based name ideas.

The logo icon symbolizes the name with a winding pathway leading into the globe – a journey around the world to help others.
