In 2021, we did a complete design and development overhaul of the entire website we originally did back in 2011. The site was brought up to modern design and coding standards and optimized to give SCORA members a much easier, better, and more detailed experience around their races. The end product had to be very easy for all levels of computer literate members to be able to perform more tasks related to the organization through the website.
Individual paddlers can create and manage their own account, manage children’s accounts, view races they are registered for, see past race results, sign important legal liability waivers, and more.
Member clubs can register and pay registration fees online for races, manage their member paddlers, canoes, and more.
Site admins can manage all aspects of the site including information for their race events. On race day, they can enter race results from the race location so results are live on the website immediately. Custom data and reporting tools were created to help manage race day information and make financial record management a breeze.
All of this built as a comprehensive WordPress plugin specifically for SCORA’s unique needs.
